Waterman Equipment Company is a startup company that is seeking investment capital for initial manufacturing, warehousing, marketing and distribution expenses.
We have plans to both produce and distribute the W.E.T. (Waterman Equipment Trailer) trailer; a light weight aluminum trailer for carrying kayaks, Surfboards & Stand up Paddleboards designed to be pulled behind a bicycle. We currently have a provisional Patent and we will be submitting our Patent application by June 2010.
Our vision is to enter the Water sports market (Specifically Kayak, Surf & Stand Up Paddleboard) with the W.E.T. trailer, then over the next 12 to 18 months to add a 2nd model designed to be pulled by motor scooters ATV’s and other motor vehicles along with accessories to the trailers, “WET” T-shirts & clothing, and other innovative water sports products that will increase our sales.
The company is currently a sole proprietorship and will incorporate immediately upon acquisition of funding to include The investor/investors as legal owners of a percentage of the company for a specific time frame with the amount of return on investment based on projected sales goals.
We have performed extensive research and development on the product along with market research. We have received enough positive feedback both from Water Sports retailers and Sports Professionals “in the know” along with many unsolicited requests from water sports participants who “want to know where they can buy one” that have convinced us that there is a huge market for our product.
