I operate a limited services bar/grill. It previously belonged to my great aunt and was a bar for thirty years before she retired and closed the doors. She’s allowed me to open the bar up back up on the weekends under my business until I can gather funding to purchase the property from her. I’ve put in approximately 20k doing some remodel work in order to open again along with purchasing inventory and new equipment. I don’t have great personal credit and my cash reserves are limited. I have also given her 7k in earnest money to show her I’m serious in coming up with the funding to completely purchase. I’m needing approximately 160k to finish the purchase of the property which is two buildings. The bottom floor of both buildings is the bar( yes it’s very good square footage for a bar and potential full service restaurant). Upstairs there is more financial potential earnings with two apartments that could be leased out. With the 160k for the building I’m also looking for an investment of up to 60k for further renovations including a full service kitchen, hiring staff, and adding additional inventory. Before she closed the bar would make sometimes 6k just in a three day weekend not including the week. It was and is very popular and located on our historic Main Street.
