Description:
Allow this to serve as an introduction to an investment opportunity in an emerging company which will be a leading provider of onsite Safety professionals and Foreign Material Exclusion Technicians to oil refineries and the power generation industry. Our role is one that supports the facilities outage/shutdown efforts. An outage is when the facility goes off line for maintenance to turbines, etc.
With strict regulations in place, by OSHA and others, worker safety is paramount. Furthermore, damage to equipment upon restart as a result of dropped or forgotten materials left inside a machine can and has led to losses into the multi-million dollar range. Our proprietary systems lessen the risks of these occurrences.
Safex Systems is dedicated to enhancing the safety of personnel through proactive measures and preventing future damage to machinery through a comprehensive Foreign Material Exclusion (FME) program. In short, Safex Systems works collaboratively with our clients in a variety of platforms for one common purpose; to help them achieve a safe and efficient outage.
The greatest challenge that our clients face day in and day out is the effort required to keep their workers safe while performing inherently dangerous tasks. Furthermore, we employ safeguards to eliminate the risk of an item not being accounted for that could result in damage to equipment, and in some instances has. These losses can and have been upwards into multi-millions of dollars.
Now we will take a brief look at two (2) of our service offerings on an individual basis.
First, we will discuss the offering of providing professional onsite safety personnel on a contingency basis. Our safety personnel work alongside the millwrights to oversee and ensure they are using proper personal protective equipment and following safe practices.
Secondly, the FME (Foreign Material Exclusion) Accountability Technician service offering. Simply put, we track all personnel, tools, equipment, etc. entering and exiting the designated FME zone. By doing so, we are able to identify any potential items that may have been dropped and left behind in the machinery.
