Kennosh, Inc. operates Olde World Bagel & Deli. This organization provides retail, wholesale, and catering services to the Colorado front range centered around the manufacturing of made from scratch, New York style bagels. It is one of only 3-5 locations in the state that create such a product.
The retail operation provides a diverse menu of breakfast sandwiches and pastries, hot and cold lunch sandwiches, soups, salads, and beverages. There is also a full espresso bar. It is located in a business district at the south end of Colorado Springs within a mile of 12 hotels and within a half mile of the Colorado Springs World Arena. In addition to local patrons, the restaurant is very popular with business travelers and sports families.
The wholesale operation currently delivers bagels and pastries daily to approximately 50 customers between Monument and Pueblo. Customers include coffee shops, corporate cafeterias, schools, and hotels.
The catering operation provides breakfast and lunch services to various customers on a demand basis and represents a good point of growth. We provide bagel trays, breakfast spreads, lunch spreads, and box lunches. There are currently three customers who receive services on a regular basis. Other customers order products sporadically.
Kennosh also began operating a small, sit-down format restaurant in December, 2010, in a redeveloped area of Colorado Springs. Lofty's shop provides services to a community of upscale townhomes and to the arts community. This location is in the process of securing a liquor license in order to grow the customer base, the average ticket and the desirability of the location as a dinner or evening destination.
