Description: The core service developed by CLAROS is called the CLAROS MedTech™ System (“System”). This System addresses the healthcare industry’s need for a Remote Patient Management (RPM) solution targeting chronic care patients. The System is a completely integrated support solution for true remote patient self-testing using existing medical devices manufactured by third parties. The core system is “Cloud Based” and offered as Software as a Service (“SaaS”). The System includes the ability to append patient testing data (with details, e.g., test before breakfast, test after lunch) through a series of interactive automated queries on the APP that is loaded onto the patients' smart phone or tablet PC. The CLAROS MedTech™ APP connects wirelessly (e.g., Bluetooth) and securely to third party manufactured testing devices to retrieve and then securely deliver patient testing results to the "Cloud Based System" for analysis and secure storage. The System includes the ability to process and analyze testing data, enabling healthcare providers to determine treatment based upon patient testing characteristics. The System provides user-friendly analysis tools necessary to determine progress of patient care and identify proactive and preventative courses of action. The ability to collect and analyze this data in near real time provides more accurate information to clinicians allowing them to properly prescribe care to manage the patient's chronic condition (e.g., assisting patients to better adjust insulin dosages to more effectively manage their diabetes regimen). Having the ability to treat early onset of chronic diseases, such as diabetes, can reduce healthcare costs and prevent the onset of additional, more serious maladies that typically can accompany these diseases. Other functionality includes advanced customizable clinical alert capabilities, automated reminders and other proprietary capabilities. The System is designed to be easily integrated into existing patients’ Electronic Health Record (EHR) solutions and is designed to be HIPPA compliant and reimbursable under current insurance and Medicaid protocols. The System allows for powerful algorithms to be developed, which will be used to analyze and identify preventative treatment alternatives.
