I buy clothing and jewelry from St. Johns Helpful Shop, individuals, Artists, craftsmen, Goodwill, local families and any place that helps others. I resell items at a reasonable markup and also sell at a discounted price for people in transition ( 3 dollar basket). My business started at a location that was challenging for people to park or pull into. After a fire in November 07 I restarted at a much better location in town. It is starting to show a small profit which I am confident will continue to grow. I sell an average of 150. per day but am open 5 days a week. I need to be here 7 days a week. I need an advertising budget to work with and this store will become very profitable even during a recession due to the affordable items. I could continue to purchase items from entities that help others or from people in need.
