My company is a small debt settlement company based in Eagle Idaho. I am a very professional individual who works with Realtors, Attorney's and lenders to name a few that have clients that need help with debt settlement or credit restoration. However with the new law that was passed and started in October I can no longer get paid on my Debt Settlement client until the account is settled in full. I have made approx. 42k on 18 clients in the past 12 months and have another 41k in receivables I can not touch until each client's accounts are settled. This has left me with no cash flow or very little as I can charge a up fornt consulting fee if I consult the client face to face in which I always do. My goal is to sustain myself through on very little overhead ($3k a month) until I start to build up more upfront consulting fees and my receivables can be paid out.
