We own a renewable energy wood pellet manufacturing facility in Marcell, MN with plans in place for 4-5 more. We produce wood pellets to be used as an alternative heating source for residential, commercial and municipality use (schools/hospitals). We have "outsold" our 50,000 tonage plant so our receiveables are growing by leaps and bounds. Our biggest challenge is operating capital during the growth/non-profit time of a new business. We have the enough customers and a huge demand to fund another facility. We need operating capital to sustain us. We are looking for 500K-1,500,000. Our current lender that hold the note for our plant is ineffective, conservative and unknowledgeable about our specific business needs. Renewable energy is where profit is at. Our phone rings off the hook for our product. The State of Minnesota awarded 1,750,000 in funds for schools, hospitals etc. to convert to wood pellets as an alternative fuel source that would save them 50-60% on fuel costs. We are prospering and growing but without a revenue stream to 100% support us we will sink quickly. We can easily provide what our customer base is, 50,000 tons a year of pellets at 159.00 a ton nets us almost 8,000,000. Right now we can't acheive that goal with expenses that come with purchasing and improving an existing plant and normal operational expenses.
