Description: Exocortex Technologies Inc. Exocortex Technologies Inc. (URL removed) has developed the first real-time fluid simulator for the video gaming industry called SlipstreamFX™. This is a unique disruptive technology with a patent pending. It allows users to experience real-time effects of air, wind, turbulence, fog, snow, smoke, etc during game play. SlipstreamFX™ uses the Exocortex Fluid Engine™. It is the first commercially available tetrahedral based fluid simulator with performance and scaling advantages over other technologies. The Exocortex Fluid Engine™ can be used to produce very high quality non-real-time effects for the video game and film industry. Prior to founding Exocortex in April 2005, Ben Houston was the Lead Architect & Commercial Strategist at Frantic Films. Ben supervised the development of a number of production tools including a fluid simulator. The fluid simulator was used in several movies including Paycheck (2003), Italian Job (2003), Scooby Doo 2 (2004), Cursed (2005), Stay (2005), Poseidon (2006), and Superman Returns (2006). Ben also contributed to several research publications and is recognized among his peers as an industry expert in graphics and fluid simulation. (URL removed) Essentially the company has developed new techniques for solving complex fluid simulation problems in both video game and film industry. These techniques along with improvements in processor speed reduce the time to process simulations resulting in less cost to develop along with an enhanced user experience with different wind effects with all objects in play each time the game is played. We have several other fluid simulation research projects that we expect to patent and commercialize. Today we are looking for top end game developers that are looking to create a unique game experience with real-time wind effects to set a new standard in the industry. Great effects, lots of buzz, great game reviews, more game sales.
