I am interested in opening a consignment shop that offers formal/special occassion attire and accessories for the entire family. My store would offer new and gently used wedding dresses, christening gowns/suits, tuxes, formals, special occassion outfits, jewelry, hats, shoes, invitations, and miscellaneous items to support a special function. I am also proposing to offer shopping services when I do not have what a customer is looking for. I found the need for this type of consignment shop when I was planning my own wedding, and could not find the things I needed at an affordable price and in one location. The start-up location would be in the Westfield, Indiana area which is an up and coming new city just north of Indianapolis. If my business grows as I think it will, I would like to open another store in another Indianapolis metropolitan area in the future.
