Description: We are looking for Angel Investors with hearts bigger than their pockets. Prattville Bait is located only yards from the city’s only boat ramp. It is a prime location for huge profits. We are opening our doors for business the first of May, 2010 and estimate an annual gross of about $90 with a growth of nearly $200k in two to three years. The bait shop will not only be convenient but it will be the sole bait shop for local fishermen and boaters to purchase bait, extra fishing supplies, rent a boat storage unit, rent a boat for a few hours, or just buy cold drinks for their cooler. Prattville, Alabama, has a population of 51k with the cities of Millbrook, Wetumpka and Montgomery (the state capital) only a few miles down the road. Prattville has no other retail bait and fishing shop. We have invested about $1500 of our personal funds thus far to secure the lease of the property and to purchase supplies and equipment. We are looking for up to $5k to give us a good push into the right direction as we would like to offer retail items beyond just bait. Our future plans will require a bigger investment with a better profit margin for the investor. We will build to one side of the bait shop 12 to 16 boat storage units. Currently, boat owners are storing their boats in standard storage buildings that are as far as a mile away from the dock. Our building will be custom designed to store boats and equipment such as fishing poles. The advantage is that we are only yards away from the dock. We also look to purchase equipment we can lease such as a small boat, fish finding radars, camping tents, etc. This could cost up to $50k. With leasing equipment, boats, lots, and storage, this will fund the store during off-season times. 1795 Cooter's Pond Road, Prattville, AL 36066
