We are a home health care organization. We are in need of funding in order to roll up existing debt so that we can move forward. We have a sister company which provides medical equipment and another that provides private duty home care. We are investigating pulling the private duty company under the visiting nurse corp but have not yet done so. We have had some very profitable years which, due to our corporate structure, has left the company owner with 100+K in tax debt. We are changing our corporate structure to C corp. to address this. We were originally advised to incorporate as a S corp, because our biggest payor (Medicare) ran cost reporting which disallowed profit for home health agencies. This is no longer the case.
