Free Minds is an organized, but diverse, collection of artists working together to create positive movement in our local/global communities. The group consists of three core members (Karma, Stay High, and Add Color), but several dozen others represent and create as a part of the Free Mind Family in order to accomplish larger goals. The group adheres to a strict “D.I.Y” (do it yourself), code of ethics. This means, instead of depending on others for help, we openly expect, if not insist, to do all the dirty work ourselves. All artwork for flyers, clothing, albums, stickers, and banners are created from within the Free Minds camp. All music and video is created and recorded from within the Free Minds camp. All event bookings and promotion are generally handled and maintained from within the Free Minds camp. This is a very self sufficient collective.
Despite the drive to accomplish things themselves, the Free Minds group warmly helps other visual and recording artists to accomplish their own goals on a regular basis. Free Minds offers their eclectic services to any who need them, regardless of style, race, religion, or musical preference. Due to the value of positive momentum, Financial gain (while important), is not the driving force of the Free Minds organization. We believe a compromise can always be reached.
The ultimate goal of Free Minds is not fame, but rather accomplishment. All members strive to achieve excellence in every artistic endeavor. Nothing less than our personal best is acceptable. It’s these values that drive Free Minds. It’s also these values that separate this collective from the typical music group or average design company. On the stage, or behind the scenes, when it comes to success, Free Minds wants it more; and their doing whatever it takes to prove it.
