I am owner/designer/artist, Karin Moffat, I have a mental health disability/depression and I am starting a business called Fashion Recycled KM Designs. I am currently a sole proprietorship but am going to do LLC. WE repurpose and recycle, up-cycle used clothing and fabric scraps, into new patchwork handbags and unique clothing. I have been working towards this business for over 10 years. I have worked with SCORE, Open to Business, VRS/DEED and Fraser on business related stuff. Finalizing business plan and taking business classes. I have applied for grants and haven't had any luck. Have been wanting to open retail location, in Eagan Minnesota. I am currently working from my home office which is a walk in closet. And, I am running out of space.. And, doing occasional popup shops... I want to something more them just popup shops. I was going to build a website for my business, but don't want to ship products, I want to have 1 retail location/warehouse to sew and make products, and sell in person.
