I am writing a book. I have recieved a great deal of interest from publishers but no one will take the full burden of cost on an unknown. The publishing company I have reseached and found to have the best marketing campaign and best profits asks for a smal investment from their authors to insure they are serious. I am very serious just broke. The investment is $4,000. the other company is a self publishing company. They have a good marketing campaign as well. They cost more ($5,000) but you get more in royalties. I would be willing to pay back an investor double.
