The proposed factory is to manufacture steel framed rig mats used in oilfield. I will import steel frames from China at much lower costs than what other manufacturers are currently paying. The final assembly will be done in Canada with minimal costs.
I am already selling small quantity steel frames in Alberta area but I like to expand the market. If I can sell the finished mats directly to the end users, the sales potential is tremendous.
The projected sales in the first yeas are around $2 million with net profit of $250,000. The projected sales for the second yeas are $3.5 million with net profit of $500,000.
