I have an idea that is currently being patented that has already been used in some stores and convenience stores. My assumption is that everything in our daily lives is moving towards using your smart phone to provide services for us because it is quick, simple, "cool", and it works without hardly ever any hiccups. From GPS, bill pay, apps that can do almost anything, ask the new iphone anything and she can give you an almost immediate correct response and this technology is only going to evolve and become more important in our lives. My point of interest is the assumption that people will eventually just pay everything they buy with their smartphone, Google has already started this by introducing the Google Wallet and will start this revolution. Apple has also said they will have technology imbedded in their Iphones so consumers can simply pay with their phone instead of "hastling" with credit/debit cards. I want to focus on a device that will help accept these payments and that is my idea and I have already had this prototyped and I am currently looking for funding so I can get this prototyped. There are obvios obstacles to my idea andplan, we will have to get credit card companies, convenient stores, retail stores, Apple and Google have to allow us to receive their payment, and there are obvious security risks. This technology or trend is at the very early stages, but within the next 3-5 years this could be a mobile payment revolution.
