It is the site of a Volcanic Deludge some 39 million years ago. Along with gold there are tones of fossils to find. Some are so big that all you can do is admire the size of the old great big dinosuars that use to roam the earth. There are also Neanderthals to see and the dino that was man's first horse. The seinic beauty and the lovely day and overnight camping makes using the river a fun and exciting thing. The river is full of gold ready for smelting and processing. Gold mining is a wouderful and relaxing way to spend a day, weekend or 14 day camping experience while you make a profit.
