Description:
Seeking an Angel Investor to aide a newly single and newly disabled mother of two school age daughters stay in their home of 18 years. The house has a great deal of equity which will be used to compensate Angel Investor (also large tort case pending). The mother is needing to stay in the home for ~ 3-5 years to provide stability for herself and her daughters going through this difficult transition of life. Thank you for your consideration.
Personal info:
She has been a pivotal member of the same community for over 25 years. A volunteer (foster home) for the Humane Society for 7 years. Very active volunteer in all the local schools and local theater for past 11 years. Passionate about Girl Scouts of America, holding dozens of volunteer positions including regional Service Unit Manager for several years. Her family owned a small business (Martial Arts) for 10 years, and adopted multiple family's for the holidays as well as sponsored local youth sports teams etc. Life was great.
She has worked in medical research at UCSD since 1992. However unfortunately in June 2015 after a fire/flood at work, she went into a back room that had been "cleaned" to find out it was not. She tragically slipped and thereafter suffered significant pain and sciatica causing her to become bedridden for 10 months while they attempted to diagnose all the damage caused by the slip. It was determined the labrium tore in her right hip (in multiple places) and other soft tissue/muscle/tendon damage to her back, hip and leg. Hip surgery was performed in April 2016, and today she is still in chronic pain and currently diagnosed with a minimum 30% full body permanent disability.
During the second year of her medical turmoil (2016), her husband of 19 years left the family.
So today she is dealing with the loss of her 25 year career at UCSD, the loss of her 24 year relationship with her husband, and doing the best she can to solely raise her 10 and 15 year old daughters of whom she is currently awarded 95% custody. The last 2 years of life have been beyond challenging.
Her immediate goal is to remain in the home she has resided in for the past 18 years. The support of her local neighborhood is irreplaceable to her and her daughters, and they cannot handle another great loss. Medical and financial stability is on the horizon (another surgery & large tort case), but it is still a few years away. If only an Angel Investor could help bridge the gap for them, it would be the most appreciated blessing of all. I appreciate any assistance you can provide.
