Description: Transitioning with 25 years of experience making movies in Hollywood to creating my own production company with my own literary properties - currently 8 finished screenplays ready for production. Having worked virtually every job in the industry I am uniquely able to maximize production finance to get an end product with far more production value than what was spent creating it. Additionally, the huge base of contacts developed in that period makes me able to pull favors from celebrity friends and get them to work for far below their usual rates. The scripts are the backbone of any film project and this batch was almost bought in its entirety by 20th Century Fox. The deal eventually fell through due to some legal technicality regarding how they were submitted. Still, this proved that the scripts were ALL studio quality, which means the finished films are likely to be of interest to the studios for distribution based on script alone. My plan is to slate a diverse range of projects in order to minimize risk and maximize the potential for a run away hit. These will include action/thrillers, romantic comedies, animated children's features, a possible animated TV series, and adventure/supernatural projects. There is also a project which had Anthony Quinn attached to it until his death. The famed Endeavor Agency called it an Academy Award winner.... It should be noted that I was represented by the legendary agency William Morris who sold two of my screenplays. The company will eventually move to the NYC area. I am seeking $5-10 million to produce a number of films and run the company until sales of the first finished films starts rolling about 3 years after we are funded.
