Primary Target, a Munich-based IT security company, is privately equally funded by the two founders and supported by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research with a total of Euro 2M. The software solution was rewarded in September 2023 as one of the Best Technologies in Cyber Security from the Handelsblatt Group in cooperation with Fraunhofer ISI, Capgemini and the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.
We are developing and offering a software platform for the process automation of threat analyses and risk assessment for the development of vehicles and other industrial applications in accordance with NIST and the specifications of the ISO 21434 vehicle cyber security standard. First target markets are Driver Assistance/ Autonomous Vehicles with a market size in 2030 and 2,25 B$; the Military & Mechanical Engineering Market with a market size in 2025 of 21 B$ and machine control systems with a market size in 2027 of 14,5 B$. We are offering for three years a service to customers like VW, Continental, Panasonic, Rheinmetall and others doing a thread assessment manually. These companies are today our alpha release customers going to replace the service with the use of the software in Q2/24.
For finishing the product and accelerating the time to market we are looking for short term (9 months) investment of USD 500k and midterm (15 months) USD 1M.
