Moving company venture just starting out. We do have the LLC, our DOT/MC numbers, we are in process of filing the appropriate paperwork with the FMCSA so that we can start booking jobs.
I have worked in the moving industry for 6 years, what I have seen inside of it, I loathe. I see a chance for change, I want to start a company and be a part of something that raises the bar within an industry that currently has absolutely no bar at all. Pioneer Relocation will be the Target of all moving companies.
I want to start out one office at a time. We will begin in Atlanta and once every 6-9 months we will open a new office in another state within the southeast region. We will primarily focus on interstate moves and depending on the local regulations, I will not rule out doing local moves as well. We will operate in the 48 contiguous states.
It is possible to operate within the 48 contiguous states with only one office, but part of the problem I have noticed is name recognition. Clients feel more comfortable if you have an office located in their state. This will only help generate revenue. There is no reason this cannot be a 250 million dollar a year business within 10-15 years or possibly less.
I also see a future in international moves, and also reaching out to both Alaska and Hawaii as well. Pioneer will be a household name.
