Description: J4 Paintball is actively looking for investors to help start up a manufacturing company for a Paintball product line. I have a patent, several designs, working prototypes, several other products to support it ready to bring to market, market knowledge (18 years+,) parts sourced from several local machine shops (long time (URL removed) member also) and I have the connections in the industry. All that is needed is capitol. I have worked at all ends of this industry, from out in the field to the store to manufacturing and tech to distribution. I know the professional players, I know the distributors, and I know the magazine and internet reporters. And I currently work in another industry as a Designer, with very strong CAD skills. In all the various areas in this industry, the area with the highest potential profit and earnings is in manufacturing. Before overhead and related expenses, manufacturing shows a 100% markup on the product. The distributor normally shows a 5-10% mark-up, and the store marks up a product by 10-15% and accessories by 30-50%. Overhead is kept down by using outside machine companies to have the parts produced and just assembling/packaging/shipping the products at from the shop. This allows for the company to be both very agile and frugal, and allows the profit margin to stay wide. I am looking for an investor who can put startup (Phase I) and possibly support financing (Phase II) money into a company that can show 7-8 digit revenue in 2-3 years in an industry that nearly all of the companies have started from a single product, often brought to market from a garage. This would be from an initial $50K investment at Phase I. I could put products to market within 2 months of initial funding, and also am able to put the patented product out for market ‘Teaser’ promotion within 3 months or less.
