Description: Atlas NightClub was founded by two DJs, DJ Esco (Michael Sharpe), and DJ DropDat (Joseph Gibbs). These two young entrepreneurs started this venue because most nightclubs within the five boroughs are closing down due to Covid-19, have bad reputations, or just simply don't appeal to the new generation. Gibbs and Sharpe are well-known DJs and musicians in NYC and its surrounding cities. Gibbs has had a dream of opening a Club for over 10 years now, and with finally having the time and opportunity to go through with this plan, he is taking full advantage. Gibbs has been an audio producer and engineer for 14 years, and professionally for 10. He's been DJing for a little over 5 years and is still adamant on learning more in his craft. Sharpe started playing with DJ turntables at the very young age of just 3 years old. Having a father who was also a well-known DJ, Sharpe grew up to become a professional DJ at the age of 13, DJing for local clubs, lounges, bars and house parties. Sharpe has many talents including singing, playing piano, audio production, drumming, and event promoting. With plans of opening Atlas NightClub by January 2022, Gibbs and Sharpe are working diligently to make this dream come true. The only aspect holding the two entrepreneurs back is the club funding. Both have 9-5 jobs as well as their entertainment careers. But still the funds just don't roll in fast enough. All funds raised through GoFundMe will be used in several ways. 1) Venue Location Lease Payment 2) Venue Furniture 3) Venue Lighting Equipment 4) Venue Sound Equipment 5) Venue Renovation Supplies 6) State Filing Fees 7) Venue Kitchen Appliances 8) And More...
