Description: Executive Summary Groove Box Rehearsal Studio can be rented on a weekly or monthly basis to bands and individual artists who then install their equipment and leave it in place for the duration of their rental period. This arrangement has the commercial advantage of guaranteeing an income for a set block of time. Alternatively we will offer rehearsal space that can be hired on an hourly or daily basis. Customers taking advantage of this more flexible option will find our studio to be well equipped with amplifiers, microphones, a drum kit and piano. Groove box Rehearsal Studio will be a unique and comfortable rehearsal studio located in Taunton. Our wooden rooms will hold a variety of vintage and modern recording equipment, and a wonderful collection of musical instruments. Our job is to assist artists by providing supportive service in a creative environment. We aim to provide high end professional services to producers, bands and artists, as well as signing our bands and managing the production and release of CD’s both on and off- line. Being musicians we realise that recording is alchemy and prospecting. We give our artists access to a wide palette of musical colours and textures: big wooden rooms, quality audio gear, and lots of great-sounding instruments in an atmosphere of professionalism, encouragement, and freedom from distraction. Objectives 1. Organize music workshops covering various aspects of playing a musical instrument for beginners,intermediate and advanced musicians . 2. Sign and record two new bands in the first year. 3. Release the first CD of each group in the first year. 4. Establish a strong distribution network that will facilitate CD sales. 5. Establish the necessary strategic alliances to assure the widest possible distribution of our music. Mission The idea of Groove Box Rehearsal Studio is the brainchild of a group who created Saltzon over 8 years ago. Saltzon is a group of percussion drummers and musicians who organized music workshops and put on shows for young people and adults during the weekend at various venues and parks and youth festivals throughout Lisbon in Portugal. Most of the young people and adults that attended our shows and workshops were between the ages of 12 to 35 whom developed interested in learning drums, guitar (acoustic and electric) , bass guitar and piano. Groove Box Rehearsal Studio's mission is to provide the musicians of Taunton and surroundings with a unique and comfortable recording & rehearsal studio and a small live performance space were they can present themselves and the work they do to the community. Groove Box Rehearsal Studio's Also intends to provide music workshops throughout Somerset, including schools , college's and local venues as and when required to do so in order to motivate young and adult people to seek music as a way to discourage violence and anti social behavior (URL removed)ove Box believes that trough music it is possible to bring across a more positive and constructive message that will move young people.
