Description: Good Shepherd Care Home For The Elderly is a 22-bed state licensed, ongoing, facility which I purchased in 1993. It is a sole-proprietorship, nondenominational, board and care home serving the elderly folks of Oakland and surrounding community. As we all know the elderly segment of our population is very large. What with the entry of the baby (URL removed)re is a tremendous need for Caregivers to take care of these Seniors in a manner that affords them a decent and respectful way of life in these their last years. It takes passion and dedication to do these thankless jobs. We at Good Shepherd try to provide the best care including upgrading the furniture replace a leaky roof, some flooring, and pay out few lingering bills that are distracting following the nationwide economic slump. We have come a long arduous way. We certainly can use a little help at this time as we are poised to increase our revenues starting on the 2nd quarter of 2011. We enjoy our line of work. We are resilient, resourceful and experienced. After 18 years in this small business, we're still standing. We will pay you back.
