In Tacoma's restaurant scene, there is a modern spin on every kind of cuisine in the downtown area, with the exception of italian. We have modern steakhouses, mexican, american, and asian restaurants within a one mile radius of each other. My plan is to open a modern italian restaurant featuring simple and bold dishes with a very light and modern twist. I have extensive plans on finances, staffing, menu, and building layout. I am a 23 year old general manager of a steak house and dueling piano bar and have been in the industry for almost ten years working everything from fast food, corporate chains, and fine dining.
