Description:
With the goal of positively impacting the next generation, TCR created G.O.A.L.(Get Out And Live), a program designed specifically to reach inner city youth. Partnering with organizations such as NASCAR, ATHLETES FOR AMERICA and the Boys and Girls Clubs of America , G.O.A.L offers kids an on-site go karting experience coupled with the chance to meet and listen to relevant high profile motivational speakers. In addition, our partnership with ATHLETES FOR AMERICA allows the kids the opportunity to learn about emergency preparedness and the importance of CPR and how to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
Gerard Smith is the founder of Jonathan Smith Racing, LLC, aka Three Cord Racing (TCR), a minority-owned race team which has competed in top tier levels of both stock car and sports car racing. Gerry started his race team out of his home garage in 1987; his sons, Jonathan and Benjamin, both of whom hold racing championships, round out the partnership.
