Description:
Epic Music Shop was founded in 2010 and is a seller of musical instruments and equipment. It
is a Sole Proprietorship owned and operated by Jonathan Levister. Our principal offices are
located at 972 Great Falls Hwy in Chester, South Carolina. Our company's mission is to provide
a fresh new feel for the musical instrument buying experience while always keeping our
customers first.
The shop will be a combination of the best parts of a small music shop that offers great
service and a large music superstore that has a large inventory of products. Customers will be
able to enjoy both of these aspects at Epic Music Shop while enjoying the highest quality
products at low prices. Our retail store will offer guitars, basses, drums, band and orchestra
instruments, and accessories, along with pro sound and lighting.
With our wide range of product offerings, our target markets will include music distributors, music
retailers, sc hools, churches, beginners and professional artists. We will offer both sales and
rentals of equipment. We also have a rewards card that gives customers points for every dollar
spent that they can then use towards future purchases.
Customers will choose Epic Music Shop because of our service, selec tion and prices, in addition
to our new environment in a prime location near a shopping center and movie theater.
Marketing will include radio commercials, TV commercials, billboards, events, and word of
mouth, along with our website.
Our company is in the start-up stage of business, having just hired our first salesman and set up
our first website. We are seeking $1.9 million in funding to open the retail side of Epic Music
Shop. This will include purchase and remodel of a building, purchase of a vehicle and trailer,
and hiring of employees.
