I am looking to purchase one of several available restaurants/ bars in the area. I have several years of restaurant management experience and know what it takes to make the business successful. Why I wish to purchase an existing restaurant is the fact that all of the equipment, property leases, food and liquor inventory and licenses are already in place There are some very profitable locations for sale at great prices due to many owners retiring. I have found established, profitable locations for as low as $40,000 all the way up to $250,000 (some with owner financing available with down payment). I have not obtained a federal tax ID to establish business credit for a loan because with the sale of an established restaurant, the business would be transferable. I am looking for any type of funding to help me get off the ground, and upon closing on a restaurant, would be willing to offer all of the equipment, furniture, and inventory as loan collateral.
