I want to bring a Japanese hotel concept to the United States. (URL removed) Once started I could safely function at a 40% occupancy rate while charging competitive prices. I have done extensive research on the hotel industry of the midtown Manhattan. The economy is in desperate need of cheap hotel accommodations. I would need cash to install showers, toilets, sinks, and the sleeping capsules. I am still searching for a business location. I would want to either buy or rent 1 room about 7000 square feet. I want a 10 year mortgage paying about 50000 for the mortgage. I'm planning on 150 sleeping units, 30 showers, 20 toilets, and 20 sinks, costing between 350000 and 700000 and paying back 20000 a month. I would charge $66/ per person per night. I am a sole proprietor and just registered my EIN with the IRS. I plan to do my share of the manual labor and not waste money at all. I will hire cheap under the table labor, and plan to open within 6 months. I plan to do all the bookkeeping personally. I am recently out of college and do not have an extensive credit history.
