Description: Inflate a Pillow I am the patent holder of Inflate a Pillow. The Pillow in made of polyurethane with two adjustable, removable straps with velcro closures, allowing the user to attach it to any size lounge or chair. When the straps are easily removed, it can be used as a flotation device, strong enough to hold any adult. Additional product advantages: 1. Total portability. When deflated it can fit in a pocket. 2. Adjustable firmness. It can also be used as a lumbar device. 3. Can be used both in and outdoors. The Pillow also has a custom made velour pillow case for indoors 4. Can be sold to any age or gender 5. Any geographic location 6. Priced to sell in multiple units. 7. Presently no competition. There exist no portable, inflatable adjustable pillow on the market. The Pillow will be manufactured in China by two extremely reputable factories whose business is 80% making goods for the U.S. market, therefore. adhering to all regulations imposed by the U.S. I presently have production samples. Field tested: The Pillow was handed out to 200 individuals, from ages 4 - 84. Each created a different use for it, however, the response was all same. “where can I buy it” The pillow fills 2 voids. Any product that can be easily transported and the inherent desire for comfort makes for a great salable item. There are 115,000,000 households in the U.S. Each spends approximately $100.00 per year per person on extra items to keep either them or their children a little happier during the summer months. If 1% of these households purchase the Pillow, sales would exceed $100,000,000.00 At the present time, I will be the only paid employee for the company. My responsibilities will include sales and management of daily operations. For the past twenty five years I have held sales and executive positions in the wholesale consumer goods industry, selling to chains, catalogs and department stores throughout the U.S. Accounting, graphics, warehousing, receiving, shipping and all back office functions will be preformed by outside professionals and companies. Strategy: 1. Direct response TV 2. Home shopping networks In order for the Pillow to be successful at retail, it must, at first, be sold visually. It is imperative that the many uses be demonstrated. 3. Chains, department stores catalogs, internet (Amazon etc) Once the Pillow is recognized by the consumer (as seen on TV ), the doors will be opened for all avenues of distribution. 4. Private label At this point the production prices will come down low enough, due to the volume, that the pillow will be offered to hotels, airlines, cruise lines, college and professional athletic programs and fund raising institutions. Exit strategy: 1. Leverage buy out 2. sale of entire company 3. Public offering Thank you, John Visco (Phone # removed)(URL removed)
