We have developed a new consumer product that is easy and low risk to get into production. It is a patented product such that competition will not exist. The recurring cost to manufacture will be $144.00 (less if it is done in China) and the retail cost will be $944.00. With a sales projection of 60,000 units per year there will be tens of millions of dollars to be made by the manufacturer and investors.
A working metal prototype of this product does exist and it functions flawlessly. The next step in the development process is to build a plastic prototype which can be mass produced. This will cost $300,000 but the return on investment will be about 700% per year for the angel investor that provides us this initial seed funding.
