Description:
I am looking to purchase an existing supermarket , the owners have not upgraded the stock or decor in years, This is a 10,000 square foot leased store in a shopping center with a state liquor store, Family Dollar, Sherwin Williams paint,Citizens Bank . It is on the main road thru town and the main rd rt. 16 from south to the northern part of the (URL removed)er new ownership this market could do much better than what it is currently doing, Gross sales are 1.4 million , net profit is $ 92,000 with the owner drawing a salary of $79,000 which I believe to be much more than need be. I would draw half this salary and use the rest to get into profits and reinvestment. My long term plan is to purchase or create markets of between 10 to 12 thousand square feet in the northern and central areas of New Hampshire as there are many town that do not have the luxury of a (URL removed)etimes people have to travel up to thirty miles to get to a market there a several chains stores in the area but they are scattered and few in between . I have grocery experiance working from 15 years old as a bag boy then working in dairy, grocery , produce and front end manager with the third key for Demoulas/Market Basket a major supermarket chain in New Hampshire and (URL removed)h this knowledge of ordering , scheduling, budgeting , resets and all other aspects of the market industry I believe that I could achieve my long range plan. I do not have the finances to purchase this first market, I used all my saving a few years ago when I had a major health issue , respiratory failure do to asthma,a lung operation and not being able to work on my feet constantly , however with my own business if I have the need to sit down for a few minutes no one can tell me not to. Also once I use this store as a model to get financing for others my job would mainly be supervision . So if someone would be willing to help me with the purchase of this store as a stepping stone I know I can fulfill my plan. The amount that I am looking for is $380,000 , I would be willing to accept any help you could give me. I am also open to giving 39% ownership to anyone willing to finance. Thank You
