WCCI is privately-held, wholly-owned sister corporation of Wind Currents, Inc., an eleven-year old videophone technology corporation. We launched (2007) a Voice-and-Video Internet Phone Service (V2VIP™), comprised of calling plans and three product offers: Desktop Videophone; Video SoftPhone, and an ATA (Analog Telephone Adapter) for residential customers and telehealthcare / homecare niche markets.
The V2VIP™ (VoIP) technology replaces traditional telephone service, by transmitting the caller’s voice over a broadband Internet (DSL, cable modem) connection and regular telephone lines while maintaining the same level of quality. Our V2VIP service features videophone products (telephone with built-in screen, camera) that can replace a standard telephone so callers can see each other in real-time video transmission.
