Description: Investments needed are currently projected between $100,000 and $250,000. Investors can expect a competitive return on their money in a reasonable amount of time. These terms will be negotiated with the investor. PMP is in contact with Quick Machinery Sales and Premier Equipment, two buyers and sellers of used machines, and have identified several machines that will meet our needs to launch a successful business. Equipment that has been targeted includes: - Mazak Integrex 35Y - This combination machine already comes with a vast array of tooling, eliminating an estimated $10,000 in tooling expenses. This multipurpose machine (and tooling) has a price tag of $100,000. - Engine Lathe - We have targeted a few older engine lathes that would be good candidates to be refit for large barstock drilling, a service that most shops cannot offer. Pricing on the machines varies from $25,000 to $75,000 plus refit costs. Precision Manufacturing Partnership 3 2. Company Background The founders of Precision Manufacturing have 35 combined years of related oilfield experience in machining, design/drafting, programming, purchasing, and management. Having grown up in the industry together, the founders have decided to utilize their vast experiences and contacts to go into business for themselves. 2.1 Business Description Precision Manufacturing will initially compete regionally to provide finished oilfield components to large corporations in a competitive timeframe. In addition, PMP will offer deep-hole drilling and 3rd party Quality Control services. 2.2 Current Position and Business Objectives Precision Manufacturing is in start-up phase. Our objective is to gain the necessary capital to purchase the two targeted machines while renting a suitable facility. The owners will stay at their current places of employment and work nights and weekends at the shop, slowly but surely building the business to a point where they can work at PMP full-time and eventually hire another shift and purchase more machines.
