Description: Accell Systems is the home of Nexus®, a ground breaking new product that can double the range of DSL, triple its speed and is easy and inexpensive to install. Accell Systems's Nexus allows telephone companies to deliver next-generation, high-performance DSL services - over their existing copper wires, even when those wires could not previously deliver DSL services. Headquartered in Westborough, Massachusetts, Accell Systems has already achieved sales of its product and has it under test with British Telecom and Telecom New Zealand and is arranging tests with Century, Consolidated and Fairpoint, all major rural telephone companies who need to extend the range and speed of their DSL offerings. Currently, we have sold our product to Ontario and Trumansburg Telephone company in upstate New York, where the improvement in service over real lines to real customers has to be seen to be believed. Accell Systems has a seasoned management team, consisting of: Alan Davis - CEO - Alan has a long and successful history in bringing startup companies to profit and successful sale. John Fortier - CTO - John is the inventor of the Nexus Technology, has eight patents in the DSL area to his name and has managed multi-million dollar projects world wide. Shannon Sylvus - Domestic sales and Marketing Manager - Shannon was previously the CTO of Global Crossing and has a long history of successful sales and marketing. Shannon has five telecommunications patents. Dale Register - International Sales and Marketing Manager - Previously CTO of BT wholesale. THE TECHNOLOGY By attacking the factors that cause noise in the physical layer, Nexus addresses the reach problem that the DSL standards can't address digitally. Nexus® works on the physics of the line itself, reducing noise on the line and preventing its occurrence in the first place. With less noise on the line, DSL can operate far more efficiently. Of all existing DSL extenders, only Nexus attacks reach and bandwidth limitations in this direct manner, ensuring that every DSL installation works in a reduced noise environment. With Nexus, operators can expect to achieve an ADSL or ADSL2+ data rate of one megabit per second at a range of five miles (8 kilometers). Nexus has succeeded in providing a reliable DSL connection at a distance of 32,000 feet. That's 6.1 miles, and Nexus allowed a clear voice signal over the same pair. For a full explanation of Nexus technology, a technology white paper is available.
