Description: FundEd is able to bring NEW REVENUE to K-12 public schools and libraries and help them up upgrade their technology, which will ultimately improve their academic performance. Schools are always in need of money, especially new revenue, when their current budget is being cut due to declining property values and a shrinking tax revenue base. Bus services are being limited or cut due to excessive gas prices. Classroom teacher/student ratios are approaching 1/40 without the assistance of classroom aides, limiting teaching effectiveness and causing kids to get lost in the masses. Important enrichment programs like art, music and fieldtrips, that are crucial to broadening the students' academic perspective, are also being eliminated. With the help of government funding schools can reallocate existing budget dollars that are earmarked for technology upgrades to other highly needed programs. FundEd is dedicated to helping schools get the federal funding they richly deserve but have been denied due to lack of knowledge, poor application filing, or an inability to follow through. The government process is daunting and time consuming for schools and extra time is something they don't have. We petition on their behalf for ferderal grants that are budgeted annually in the amount of $2.25B over the last 10 years.
