Executive Summary
Louisiana Bio-Diesel is proposing to build a processing plant or purchase an existing plant to produce diesel fuel from renewable resources, specifically vegetable oils and animal oils. This plant will be located in West Baton Rouge Parish, on Louisiana Highway One, one mile south of the US-190 Bridge near Baton Rouge. From this location, Louisiana Bio-Diesel anticipates being able to take advantage of highway, rail, and water transportation for both raw materials and the produced fuels. The initial production capacity of this plant will be twenty million gallons of bio-diesel per year.
