Shuttle and tour bus business that depends on seasonal tourism. Broke even in summer 2023. Weakness was lack of marketing. Hence, improved marketing in 2024, had over $500k in sales in 2024 and took home $200k. This proves that the summer business works, provided I can keep the operation lean and efficient. Tried to build a winter business, which distracted me from properly planning for summer 2025. Went on an aggressive growth approach for summer 2025. Achieved over $1M in sales. However, operation wasn't well planned. Had too many new routes. Held on to unprofitable routes for too long. By the time I made changes of canceling or merging routes, it was too late in the summer to recover from the inefficiencies. As a result, company is over $300k in debt. If I can be given another summer season, I can refocus on cost control and further streamline operation. What the company needs is funds to cover the debts quickly in order to be able to continue operation for 2026.
