Founded to build a 100 acre sports complex in collaboration with Fairfax County, VA. In return for a generous land lease the County gets free field space. Have booked every field every weekend for the next 10 years.
Presentation to the Board of Supervisors was simple - write down these 5 numbers: 0 - you have no money to help with this project; 550 - project will catalyze several hundred jobs. 300,000 - room nights generated by guests at the complex. $9 million - new tax revenue paid by those visitors. $100,000,000 - new economic activity because of the complex.
