WineQ effectively addresses all the major gaps in existing online wine sites. First of all, WineQ is a member site and all members are entitled to free shipping on any order larger than $35 (best of the Web). In addition to virtually free online distribution, WineQ offers access to a wide selection of premium wines from artisan wineries, high quality wines that are generally crafted in small batches. WineQ is also a custom wine club: its members queue up the wines they wish to purchase—similar to queuing up movies at Netflix. Members choose both the quantity of wines and the frequency of their wine shipments—e.g., three bottles from the top of their queue sent every two weeks. The fully configurable shipping queue provides easy, uncomplicated ordering (and encourages repeat purchases) as users populate their Queues—either individually or through WineQ’s Microclubs
