Description:
Copper Creek Group is a General Building Contractor, fully licensed, and in good-standing with the State of California. In addition, we carry $2MM General Liability/ Business Operations Insurance, as well as Workers Comp.
Copper Creek Group specializes in Residential Remodeling, Renovations and various Home-Improvement projects. As well, CCG provides Tenant Improvement services for the Commercial segment.
We are seeking to raise capital in order to better position the company for anticipated success beginning this calendar year. We would like to purchase needed equipment, invest in personnel, marketing and advertisement; all of which will increase 'perceived value' of our services, as well as bringing the actual 'value' of our services to a higher level.
On a Related Note:
Recently, we were approached to purchase a profitable company (2011 Revenue approximately $1.3MM), with $500,000 in owned equipment. The company states a cash flow of $923,600. The asking price for the business is $1,995,000.
This company also requires a CA General Contractors License, and specializes in Emergency-Disaster Remediation and Re-Construction. Stating to be much more than the typical "Clean-Up Crew", this organization is said to be experts in handling fire, water, mold, trauma, sewage and electronic-recovery, with a 24 hour/7 days a week, 30 minute response time, managing projects from Remediation through Full Re-Construction.
At this point, there has been no investigation to confirm any claims. I am in the initial stages of seeking an interested party/parties that may be interested in financing the purchase of this business. Once an interest is located, all due diligence will be be performed.
I would be interested in a few different scenarios. For example, given that a CA General Contractors License is required, I may be interested in a situation where I am simply the RMO- 'Responsible Managing Officer', which means that as the holder of the State License, my position would be as the "Qualifier" for the business to legally operate. In this scenario, my actual involvement could be somewhat limited, although to protect my License, I would always be required to have access and agree to all operations.
That would be the minimum situation that I would be interested in, other than simply turning over the information to an interested party for a nominal finders-fee. I am also interested in playing a role that would be more involved, including ownership.
Thank you for taking the time to read my Profile and information. As always, more detailed information is readily available to any legitimate party interested in my situation.
