The information enclosed pertains to a business idea created by two butchers, native 4th generation San Franciscans, who have an idea to turn a small hole-in-the-wall store front into a flourishing community need and asset. We intend to establish a rustic local purveyed meat and delicatessen shop, as well as create renewed sense of pride in the community for the art of butchery and fresh, nourishing food. We intend to be with-in the fabric of the immediate neighborhood, from sponsoring youth soccer teams to catering middle school PTA events. Our roots are San Francisco, so we will represent and embrace all the great qualities that make this the most beautiful city in the world. We will wear SF hats each day, for example, and we root for the local teams like most of our clientele. We love San Franciscan signature products, like sourdough and crab, so of course we will carry products like those.
In the late 1990’s both butchers began a life long journey into “The Meat Industry” One started up at the old Tower Market, the other at the now closed Fairlane Foods. Starting at the bottom wasn’t a problem for either, as each worked their way up the ladder. From the start the pride and hard work were both strong points, getting dirty wasn’t a problem, it was work. Work truly turned into a passion, a love for cutting a case of chickens, not minding shoveling ice at 7:00am, great customer service, all became part of the job, no questions asked. With nearly 20 years experience between the two, and having some of San Francisco’s most prestigious shops on their resumes, both butchers bring a love, passion, and deep sense of pride to the customers they serve. The idea is, each customer is number one. When a customer places an order, at that moment, they are all we are focused on, not the line of customers behind, the screaming kid, the phone, each customer should truly feel they are the most important person in the City of San Francisco. Along with that focus comes the unique and somewhat complimentry personalities of each, whether its Giants baseball, 49ers football or Riordan vs Sacred Heart chatter, theres always passion behind the conversation. With a friendly smile, a wise crack or two, and always a great product……………Contact me for full detailed business plan, ASAP
