Description:
Chicken Noodles is a Limited Liability Corporation that was formed in April 2009 by J. Andy Melton and Joseph Kelly. We plan to open a simple soup, sandwich & salad shop in Haywood Mall’s Food Court. Chicken Noodles will provide a nutritious, high quality, well balanced meal with exceptional customer service at a very reasonable price. We will be attractive to customers based on our fresh, healthy food with more emphasis on vegetables and non-fried foods. All food, including the homemade and fresh squeezed drinks, will be made on site. We want our customers to think of Chicken Noodles as the type you would expect to receive from your grandmother. We plan to utilize the foot traffic of the mall’s food court as well as other promotions to attract customers.
Both operating partners have many years experience in all aspects of the food service industry. Chef Melton has worked for many years as a chef in the hotel industry and is responsible for generating quality and attractive food displays for buffets of 1000 people. Chef Kelly has worked in restaurant and room service settings. As two of the top students that ever went through Greenville Technical College’s Culinary Academy, we have very high standards to maintain.
We have projected a first year profit based on conservative estimates for an aggressive company. Chicken Noodles is going to need $65,000 in start up capital for new equipment and operational costs. The owners are able to invest 10% into the startup costs of the company. We will draw only a small salary for the first year to ensure the profitability and success of the business. Chicken Noodles has plans to repay investors relatively quickly with a reasonable ROI. Chicken Noodles expects to see a positive cash flow by the end of the 4th month in operation and to make a small profit the first year in business with subsequent growth in the following years.
