my brother and my self have located a salvage yard,and looking to purchase it,we would offer used parts as it does now,but also bring in aftermarket body panels,reman engines,transmissions,rear ends,and carry full line of new auto parts,we are looking to purchase yard in indiana,i currently work for the largest used/aftermarket corporation in the world,lkq,ive been with them for 11 years,doing close to 3.9 million in sales a year,im only looking to take maybe a million with me,and i also managed forest city auto parts,did out side sales with r&b (URL removed) been in the parts bussiness close to 21 years,and looking to own our own bussiness,as my brother is a software engineer,he also has worked in a few auto part stores,and has managed a team were he works,they currently doing 1.2 million a year,no deliverys,and no parts brookering,which we would also bring to the table
we are looking to get 1.1 to 1.2 million,the yard is 1.9
we were going to put down 300k,but would not have any money to buy new equipment,add and up date inventory,and cover every day exspense,would like to do 10 year loan,maybe around 10 to 12 percent interest rate,the yard has 2200 cars,all equpment,buildings and 2 rental houses,plenty of equity,please email me your thoughts??
