Description: Casablanca de Bahamas Island Resort is a Private Island resort which is to be set in the crystal-clear turquoise waters in the Exuma of the Bahamas will sport an impressive 400+ acres, which will consist of over the water bungalows, and shoreside Villas. There will be two Main buildings that will house restaurants that will seek to and maintain a 5-star rating, the two locations will house the guest checking for that area, as well as shops and spas. The resort will offer an assortment of entertainment. Casablanca de Bahamas will sit about 80-90 miles away from the Capital Nassau and about 270 miles away from Miami, Florida USA. Casablanca will be based on an island and not a Cay; the island also has a unique historical value to it. Casablanca de Bahamas Island Resort will be a unique resort in the aspect that it will limit the amount of guest on the island at one time. Why do this? It is to truly create and fill the void for a true private Island Resort in the area that does not seek to over crowd its beaches and other entertainments offered. This resort will offer a unique way of traveling to your private getaway adventure by utilizing the Dornier Seastar luxury seaplane. With two main buildings the resort will truly be two resorts in one that offer endless adventure for our guest; with seaside caves, multiple lush white sandy beaches, multiple coves, crystal-clear water ways to explore, and inter-island trails and walkways to explore. The Yachtsman’s Guide to the Bahamas (2005) describes the island as being “guarded by shallow white sand banks through and around which deep channels may be found… crystal-clear turquoise waters excellent for swimming, snorkeling, fishing, and diving. Perfect for family retreats or that private island vacation getaway”
