Description:
Our website will bring the excitement and pride of amateur sports and competitors of all ages, to the viewing public, and make the products associated with these events more accessible and affordable. Through this site we will increase exposure to these many live events, and also enable the general public to broadcast their own live event. To round out the program, we will introduce “indi” music to showcase new recording talent, as well as fresh content for our audience. In keeping with our purpose, to promote a wholesome outlet on the internet, we have decided to set up college internships for the video production and broadcast students, as a stepping stone to take them from amateur to professional. Amateur events get little to no coverage, let alone a live presentation. The immediacy, intrigue, and status of a live view sets our project apart from all other video-related web sites.
Based on the volume of viewers, and their obvious, focused interest in that product line, we intend to command respectable advertising rates. We anticipate that there will be tens of thousands of viewers a day, and they will all have a common interest, sports or racing. There will be many income streams, but the main source of income will be generated through advertising and affiliate links. Additionally, we have bandwidth enough to support the sale of air time, where we go out and do the production, or the customer can publish their approved event on our site. The website name recognition will give prestige to their event, and with that, a deserved pride in their participation. Lastly, we will be selling merchandise, in the form of hats, tee-shirts and bumper stickers, all promoting the team spirit and passion of competition!
