Description: Overview: The Luxury Department is an upscale and refined women's clothing boutique that aims to open ideally in December 2014 but is adaptable to an opening between this date and February 2015. The name "The Luxury Department" captures the distinction upheld by the boutique as a "one-stop-shop" for all things clean-cut, elegant and inspiring in modern women's fashion. We desire to have both a strong brick-and-mortar as well as online presence. The Luxury Department's aim is to offer exclusive style services to a wide range of female customers in a personable and personal manner that sets us apart as we build a lasting rapport for tailoring ourselves to their unique fashion needs. The L.D. is unlike any retail clothing store/ boutique in Trinidad. We offer Personal Style Assessments, Body Type Assessments, Make-up Analysis, Personal Shopping, Wedding Consultation and Planning Services, and dress alterations. We also offer a 48-hr delivery service for items purchased on our website as a way of directly competing with international sites which offer delivery in approximately 3 - 7 days. To cater to the needs of a diverse customer background, the L.D. will offer several payment options and rental of some wedding and formal wear. Even our rentals will keep to standard and discretion so that our customers are always comfortable and feel welcome. There is no existing boutique/ outlet that carries such a wide range of services and designer clothing in the country. We also will establish ourselves on E-Bay to decrease loss due to inventory turns in rental wear. Expansion into wedding accessory rental and obtaining a warehouse is projected within 1-2 years of start-up through profit and further investment from an interested party.
