The aim is to establish a chain of animation training institutes in almost every major city of India along with a studio for IP production using opensource softwares.
Our Team !
Our team will be led by artists like Christian Krupa, Martha Vaquera Vázquez, Simon baudry and Oscar Alvarado. Christian is a UK based Director/Animator with more than 12 years of experience in the animation/film industry and have worked with clients as BBC, u2, Rolling stones, Channel 4, Foxkids to name a few. Simon is a UK based freelance animator and Oscar is an extremely talented director/animator from Mexico with more than 11 years of experience and have authored films as "Murnau- The Vampire", "Le-monsuier, Le Vampire", "A few ninja stories", (URL removed) are also on talking terms with some people from hollywood.
The management team as well is groomed with some very eminent people from the Indian animation industry like Mr. Ranjit Singh( Hon. Secretary, The animation society of india) and Mr. Devang Parikh(Technocrat with more than 12 years of experience in the IT and Animation industry).
The Prospects !
Animation Business in India is soaring despite its flaws and is estimated to reach a mark of 1.2 billion $ by 2012 at a CAGR of more than 20% (nasscom report 2007, PWC, FICCI report 2008,FICCI report 2009). The irony is that, with more than a dozen films released in the past few years, only one or two have been able to mark a presence on big screens. Reports revealed that quaity of animation was a major factor; In some cases the animation was too ugly to be called as animation.
Our team is experienced, and is commited to deliver high quality animation services and training that will meet global standards.
The first two years !
During the most part of the first year, we will be training the staff, advertising, making contacts.. By the end of the second year, we will be in a position to officially get National, International projects for films, IP creation, TV, etc."
The Investment capital will mainly go in setting up the studio, installing equipments, paying the staff and in advertisement.
ROI can be expected from the third year, we are willing to work on long term development. Investors will be allowed a position in the Board and will be allowed to retain their stake in the company as per Board's discreation.
